Our teams of skilled craftsman are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year and can arrive at your property shortly after your call to us. If you have had a fire, wind or burglary damage you need to secure your property by boarding up necessary windows and doors or tarping areas as necessary. Please note that almost all insurance policies state that it is the property owners responsibility to mitigate damages and provide that there are no further damages to the property within your control. This means that you need someone at your property right away to stop any further loss.

Fire:
In the circumstance of a fire whether it is as small as smoke and soot damage only or as large as a substantial loss requiring alternative housing, there are specific actions that should be taken right away.

The most important advice that you can take is that you should not enter the property unless the fire inspector or other qualified person says it is OK. Even if there is not structural damage as in stepping through the floor or a wall collapsing the smoke from a fire can be caustic to breathe from the many sources that provided fuel in the burn.

Secondly, once it is deemed safe to enter, windows and doors should be boarded over to prevent looting and all valuable items and documents should be removed. It is a sad statement on society today but some see the yellow fire line tape as an invitation to opportunities inside while no one is there.

After these initial damages have been mitigated we can then turn our focus to restoring and repairing your property. As mentioned on our website home page, disaster restoration is no job for an amateur or a self proclaimed restoration contractor. There are a tremendous amount of expertise type issues that need to be addressed from each of the different kinds of disaster. A contractor that is unsure of these processes will not only take longer to get you back into your home but you will also be left with a less than quality home either easily visible or unseen behind walls and possibly an unhealthy inside environment..

Wind:
From wind damage you will need to have your roof tarped to minimize any further loss due to a leaking roof and or missing shingles. Also if there are broken windows or doors we will board those over until later when they can be replaced.

If you have a tree on your house or limbs puncturing the roof or windows we are equipped to remove the tree or limbs to make your house safe again until the later repairs are taken care of. If you choose you may also elect stump grinding where the tree was removed.

Flood:
Did you know that flood damage can occur not only from natural sources like rain and nearby water overflowing but flooding can also occur from such places as; broken ice maker lines, washing machine lines, air conditioning condenser back up, sewer/septic back up and from other miscellaneous sources?

Regardless of the source we are ready to immediately start work on drying out and dehumidifying the property while keeping a constant check on moisture readings. Once remediation is complete we can then focus on the details of restoring and repairing the property.

This is why we not only lift your burdens by dealing directly with your insurance but we also offer the use of a professional interior designer free of charge if you so choose.
